The Smile House Fondazione ETS does not operate in Italy alone, but promotes and develops programs all over the world to offer assistance and support to those born with a facial malformation. We believe that every region faces different challenges: this is why we adapt the way we work to the specific needs of each country in which we operate.
From Pakistan to India, from Colombia to Hungary, each of our collaborations is born with the aim of sowing something that lasts over time: not only immediate care, but knowledge, tools and models that can be carried forward over time by local organisations.
A network of global solidarity
Every international collaboration is launched in close synergy with Local Authorities, Hospitals, Universities, Foundations and local Associations. We work with the utmost respect for the cultures, healthcare systems and resources available in each country.
Wherever we are, our goal is the same: to give back a serene face and a better outlook on life to those who have faced a difficult challenge since birth. We do this by connecting people, skills and energy, in Italy and around the World.
Our international programs
To respond effectively to different needs, the Foundation applies its model through three types of programs:

SH-IP | Smile House International Program
The program dedicated to the most complex clinical cases: through this initiative, we provide assistance and care to children and young adults who, due to the severity of their malformation, would not be able to receive adequate treatment in their countries of origin.

Our program for the creation of international centres of excellence where surgeons, anaesthetists and other specialists can follow intensive training pathways to learn how to best treat facial malformations.
