Our project

With the Smile House Model, we have given a new direction to the treatment of facial malformations: a pathway where clinical care, scientific research and specialist training go hand in hand.

Smile House Fondazione ETS has developed a model unique in Italy for the treatment of facial malformations. Our approach is not limited to surgical intervention, but is based on a multidisciplinary system distributed across the country, able to guarantee excellent care close to where people live.

This commitment is built on three fundamental pillars:
1. The centrality of care
We put the patient at the centre of continuous care pathways consistent with their real needs. Thanks to a network of highly qualified professionals present in every area of the country, we ensure that quality of care is a right accessible to all, drastically reducing the need for long journeys.

2. Excellence in training
We believe that good care requires shared expertise. We promote advanced specialisation programmes for doctors, professionals and healthcare workers, with the aim of consolidating a cohesive national network of skilled experts. Only through a common clinical language can we ensure uniform, top-level treatment across the whole of Italy.

3. The value of research
Our centres are hubs of excellence where scientific research and technological innovation are integrated directly into care processes. Through the systematic sharing of clinical and genetic data, we develop cutting-edge projects and increasingly personalised protocols, able to constantly improve the effectiveness of treatments.

The Smile House Model accompanies the patient through every stage of life, from prenatal diagnosis to adulthood. We do not just offer medical care, but a constant presence that ensures quality, continuity and proximity, to foster genuine and full social integration.
