Solidarity Will: Smile House Fondazione ETS takes part in the international day of the charitable bequest

Smile House Fondazione ETS is joining the campaign promoted by “Testamento Solidale”, the Committee that brings together many of the national non-profit organisations, to celebrate and promote the culture of the charitable bequest.

“In the context of the charitable bequest, the act of designating a part of one’s assets or property is a tangible example of generosity. It is a lasting way to continue supporting important causes even after one’s own life, thus helping to leave a positive mark on the communities and the initiatives supported. Taking part in the Committee, which today celebrates its tenth anniversary, is for us a declaration of intent, in the hope of spreading the culture of the charitable bequest and inspiring more and more people to consider this form of donation. We hope to create a knock-on effect that generates a virtuous circle of benevolence with a significant impact on society.”

This was declared by the lawyer Beatrice Menis dalla Chiesa, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Smile House Fondazione ETS, who stressed:
“We recognise that authentic solidarity goes beyond assistance. Smile House Fondazione ETS has always been committed in this direction and, with this in mind, it joined this significant initiative back in 2014.

Our conviction is that a cultural revolution is needed, one that engages everyone’s conscience, to offer opportunities and resources for those among us who are most vulnerable.

This tenth anniversary is an important milestone, and we invite everyone to join us and the Testamento Solidale Committee on the journey towards building a more inclusive and aware society, capable of guaranteeing a dignified existence for all.”
