Everything is ready for the charity auction dedicated to lovers of fine wine, which will take place on 5 December at 19.00 at the Circolo Canottieri Aniene in Rome, combining the participants’ refined taste with their generosity for a noble cause. Acting as hosts will be Massimo Fabbricini, President of the Aniene, Giovanni Malagò, President of CONI, and Stefano Zapponini, President of Smile House Fondazione ETS.
Now in its XVIII edition, “Wine for Smile” has become a much-anticipated annual appointment in the calendar of Roman events. Vintage wines for the charity event in support of the projects of Smile House Fondazione ETS.
The evening, presented by Livia Azzariti, doctor, science communicator and co-founder of the Foundation, and by Beppe Convertini, actor and television presenter, promises to offer a selection of fine wines from all over Italy.
The auction, hosted by Stefano Campatelli, director of the Consorzio Vino Toscana, and conducted by Giacomo Volpi, will present a range of fine bottles, donated by renowned Italian wineries and wine producers. Participants will have the opportunity to secure some very interesting lots, while at the same time helping to support the initiatives of Smile House Fondazione ETS.
In addition, the event will offer guests the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of wine, elevating it from a simple drink to an authentic form of culture. Before the start of the auction, Professor Alberto Mattiacci, Full Professor of Business Economics and Management at La Sapienza University and representative of the European Federation of Origin Wines at the European Wine Market Observatory, will be the protagonist together with Micaela Pallini, President of Pallini SpA and President of Federvini in a short talk show designed for enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
The proceeds of the evening will be donated in full in support of the Smile House.
