An evening of beauty and solidarity: Made in Italy joins Smile House Fondazione ETS to give hope
nRome, 20 September 2024: in the splendid Corsie Sistine of the Monumental Complex of Santo Spirito in Sassia, amid art and history, an evening unfolded that managed to unite beauty and heart. More than 600 delegates from all over the world gathered for the “Made in Italy Event”, a celebration of Italian excellence and an opportunity to support the activities of our Foundation, which for years has been transforming the lives of so many children affected by craniomaxillofacial malformations.nThe event, attended by numerous figures from the institutional, business and cultural worlds, including the Chief of Staff of the Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy Federico Eichberg, AlmavivA, CONI, Exelentia, the Fondazione Nazionale delle Comunicazioni, Gambero Rosso, Inarea, the Istituto per il Credito Sportivo, Leaderform, Studio Illumina, Titanus and the Automobile Club of Rome, was set within the 27th Congress of the European Association for Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery (EACMFS), the leading international forum for oral and maxillofacial surgery, of which we were Charity Partner. An evening that managed to unite emotion and solidarity, with the mission of giving many children a better future.n
When beauty meets the heart
nRome has always been a cradle of beauty, but for one evening in the Corsie Sistine beauty was not represented only by the frescoes and works of art: it lay in the concrete commitment of those who, like our Foundation, work every day to give hope to those who need it most. Amid tastings of fine wines, haute couture garments and Italian masterpieces, the true protagonist of the evening was the compassionate heart itself: on this occasion, in fact, we had the chance to recall how a single gesture can change the destiny of an entire life.n
A congress that unites the world
nThe evening took place as part of the 27th Congress of the European Association for Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery, the most important international forum in the sector, which brought specialists from over 90 countries to Rome. As Charity Partner, we had the opportunity to strengthen our international network, also by sharing our commitment abroad, which we carry forward thanks to the MAX TRAIN humanitarian aid platform and to our missions beyond our borders.n
Stories of the sea and solidarity
nThe event was rich in unique experiences and moments, but a special mention goes to the exhibition “Ocean Stories. The Italian Navy exhibition”, which recounted the values of the Italian Navy. Between history and innovation, the moving exhibition reminded us that the beauty of our country is not only aesthetic, but also profoundly human. The collaboration between the Navy and our Foundation, which recently allowed us to bring our expertise and experience to the Philippines and India, is proof that together we really can change the world!n
An evening to give hope
nThe Made in Italy Event was far more than a celebration of Italian excellence: it was an opportunity to show that, with everyone’s support, extraordinary goals can be reached. Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy and of the many organisations present, our Foundation can continue to transform lives. Every care pathway begun, every new smile given, is a step towards a better future for many children, and the evening in Rome was tangible proof of this! n Every day, Smile House ETS is committed to giving hope.
